Choosing someone to care for your skin is personal. At aPeel Skin Spa, you work directly with me, Karen Brost—a licensed aesthetician with more than two decades of experience. I take time to understand your concerns, explain your options, and customize your care so you know what we’re doing and why.

I graduated from The Institute of Beauty & Wellness in 2003, and I’ve continued learning ever since. My background combines the comfort of luxury spa services with the focused approach of clinical skin care. Advanced training in chemical peels, hydrodermabrasion, microdermabrasion, microneedling, and other treatments gives me a range of options to draw from as your skin’s needs change.

I understand skin concerns from both sides of the treatment chair.

I dealt with acne in my 20s and 30s, and I understand the changes that come with menopause and aging. I know how frustrating it can feel when your skin no longer responds to what once worked. That experience shapes how I listen and helps me offer practical advice without judgment.

My specialized training in oncology aesthetics, along with education on how autoimmune conditions can affect the skin, informs my approach to sensitive and changing skin. Your comfort and individual needs guide each visit.
